Leave and Live the Street

"Leave and Live the Street" is a street photography series that captures outdoor scenes from diverse corners of the world. Through this documentary project, I share my observations of streets and urban life, revealing the unique essence of each location.

It explores how people spend their time outdoors—walking to their destinations, working, communicating, shopping, simply wandering in the fresh air, waiting for someone to arrive or something to happen, socializing, or visiting places. These seemingly mundane and ordinary moments, when framed within the ordered composition of a photograph, take on a new significance. They no longer feel ordinary, but rather like carefully staged scenes from a film or a photograph waiting to be captured.

In these spontaneous moments, occurring without pre-planned scripts or choreography, there are times when all elements align in harmony—creating a fleeting order amid the randomness. These moments, regardless of their context, are worthy of being immortalized in a frame. Each image becomes a piece of visual documentation, capturing how we live our time, starring not actors but real people simply living their lives.

Through this series, you’ll explore the streets and hidden corners of various cities and regions, encountering the unscripted moments of daily life that define them. The project showcases life’s authentic protagonists—ordinary people—without pretense or embellishment, presenting them as they are in the grand theater of the world.

This series currently features scenes from different cities and regions such as Strasbourg, Istanbul, Munich, Cologne, Amsterdam, the cities of Baden-Württemberg. It is an ongoing project, constantly evolving as I add new locations or expand existing galleries.

Some frames are reserved for my book series, "Leave and Live the Street". So far, I’ve created two collections, capturing the spirit of Strasbourg and Istanbul in dedicated volumes.

The photos displayed in this project’s galleries are all editorial works and available for licensing. If you're interested in licensing a single photo, a collection, or an entire gallery for use in articles, magazines, newspapers, blog posts, or other publications, feel free to contact me. Detailed information on tariffs and terms of use can be found here.

I also welcome collaboration opportunities. If you need a reportage-style documentary project for a specific location, don’t hesitate to reach out.
