Licensing Terms for Editorial Photography

1. Copyright Ownership

All images on this website are the intellectual property of Jahan Golestani ©jgolestani and are protected under German copyright law (§ 72 UrhG). Purchasing a license does not transfer copyright ownership. Clients receive a usage license only, and I retain full rights to the images.

2. Licensing Options

Editorial Use License

✔ Allowed:

• Use in newspapers, magazines, blogs, and digital/print publications

• Non-commercial, journalistic, and educational purposes

❌ Not Allowed:

• Advertising, product packaging, or promotional marketing

• Resale or redistribution to third parties

3. Duration & Territory

• Duration: Perpetual (no time limit)

• Geography: Worldwide use allowed

🔹 Disclaimer: This license grants worldwide usage for editorial purposes. However, the client is responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws and obtaining any additional permissions required for publication in specific countries or regions.

🔹 Important Note: Editorial images may be subject to local regulations regarding image rights, trademarks, and privacy laws. It is the client's responsibility to verify whether additional permissions or disclaimers are necessary before publication. For images containing identifiable individuals or private property, additional permissions may be required depending on the country of publication.

4. Payment & Delivery

• Payment must be completed before licensing is valid.

• The requested photos are delivered within 1 business days after payment.

5. Unauthorized Use & Legal Consequences

Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or resale of my images without a valid license will result in legal action and additional fees.
